Houston, Tx – Anthony Milton, CEO, is proud to take a different approach to paying respect on Memorial Day to all of the soldiers and first-responders who have given their lives for our safety.
“Too often we see businesses offer discounts and sales promotions on Memorial Day, but that’s not what it is about to us. It’s about respect. Respect to those who gave their lives for all of us. We wanted every Tune Up; The Manly Salon location to be a place where people can see our patriotism is genuine, and invite our communities to come write the names down of their loved one who paid the ultimate price, and never be forgotten. That’s why we have called this effort, ‘Remember the Fallen’”, Anthony Milton stated.
Austin, Tx customer told area manager Wes Priest, “I have liked you guys as a business, but I love your company now. This is America at its finest.” he said after seeing the display in Tune Up; The Manly Salon that he visits regularly.
Most Tune Up locations have had their Remember The Fallen display up since May 1st, allowing their customers and community to have all month to spread the work and write names on the poster beside the decommissioned barber chair draped in an American flag.
Anthony Milton continued, “So many soldiers and first-responders have given their lives that we don’t even know. This is a way we can make sure these heroes are never forgotten.”
On display until May 31st, anyone who would like to write the name down of their fallen hero can come to any Tune Up; The Manly Salon in Texas, Florida and Tennessee, and do so.
“Our communities support us so much. This is a way we can show how much we appreciate them.” Anthony Milton stated.
